Blue Christmas

After enjoying Frozen at Shangri-La mall over the weekend, I did feel like I literally stepped into the movie with the mall's Christmas decorations. Snowflakes and lanterns in hues of blue, white and silver were hanging from the ceiling. Inside the department store are polar bears in winter with red bows. But the mst beautiful of all, is the amazing Christmas tree in the mall's front lobby. It was simply MAGIC!

Crochet Love

Crochet used to be one of my frustrations in life because even if I had learned the basic stitches, I could not even make a decent straight strip of single crochet without it curling at the edges! Then a few months back, I was lucky enough to be included in a private teaching session with no other than Ms. Gantsilyo Guru herself!
This is my first ever successful crochet project - a lapghan!
It's perfect for cold nights or when the AC is too cool at work.
Thank you Gantsilyo Guru! :-)

Alice In Wonderland

"I'm Mad, You're Mad, We're All Mad Here"

While randomly surfing the internet, I chanced upon a feature of this play showing at Greenbelt 1. This is actually one of my (even moreso my sister) all-time favorite classic. In fact,  a couple of Sundays back, I bought a hardbound copy from Bestsellers, but figuring that it was the Disney version, I gave it to my sister as a belated birthday present.

Anyway, as luck would have it, there was an early showing the next day, but to my dismay, my overdue credit card was rejected. My sister and I had to wake up early hoping for available tickets at the theater. We got in with the best seats at a very affordable price. Most of the audience were little kids from different schools in Metro Manila (hmmmm, that's probably why it was a morning show!), but we didn't mind being the only two adults with no kid in tow! It just felt good to be be a kid again even if it was only for a day :-)

The props were beautiful and very colorful as AIW should be with a one-of-a-kind origami-inspired concept. And the cast was amazing! Alice played by Becca Coates and the Red Queen played by Bituin Escalante were stand-outs for me. But my favorite was  the Duchess who was a scene stealer.
All in all, I love it!

Kindred Spirit

Sometimes, on a random day, you meet someone by chance, strike up a conversation, and find that, with the snap of a finger, you clicked.. You part ways knowing that, although you may never meet again, you have touched each other's lives.

Color My World

Oil Pastel Art

After graduating from residency training last December, I finally had the time to do some of the things I love like making my art masterpiece! haha!

Life is too beautiful to be only in hues of blacks and whites, don't you think?
